I've been marveling at the astonishing pace at which artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing. Just recently, Google DeepMind's AI tool, GNoME, identified structures for 2.2 million new materials, more than 700 of which have already been created in laboratories. This feat represents nearly 800 years of human labor in the field of material science, a clear testament to AI's transformative power. From enhancing solar panels and batteries to revolutionizing computer chips, these discoveries are just the beginning. It's a transformative force reshaping our work and lives.
